OUR TERROIR
Most of our agricultural work takes place in the family’s estate of ‘Masseria Bosco Belvedere’, located at the geographical center of southern Salento, near the town of Supersano, 110 meters above sea level.

Here we take great care of 19 hectares of vineyards surrounded by olives, woods, oaks, cereals and Mediterranean bush. Its sandy/clayish soil has long been known for the finesse and elegance of the wines here derived.
We focus on indigenous varieties of Salento – Verdeca, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera di Lecce, Primitivo – together with other southern Italian ones, which we farm to medium-low yields using only natural fertilizers. To nurture the soil, we consistently generate green manure (‘sovescio’) by planting oats, rye, or letting other natural “weeds” grow with the vines, promoting the natural nutritional balance of the plants.

In addition, in a search for different terrains and microclimates, we also farm a small vineyard in Depressa and in other locations in southern Salento, for a total of 31 hectares.
